We Are The Unheard CIC
Fran Wyburn is a singer-songwriter, voice guide, and founder of The Presence Effect—a unique approach that helps people reconnect with the present moment through the power of their voice. Believing everyone is inherently musical, Fran empowers individuals to use vocal expression as a path to mindfulness and self-discovery.
With two EPs and the album Wood for the Trees, Fran’s creative journey expanded into composing for choirs, operas, and musicals—uncovering melodies within language and bringing them to life. She co-founded the Yorkshire-based Sisterhood Music Collective, a community of female artists promoting collaboration over competition through events, tours, and musical partnerships.
Passionate about nurturing musical communities, Fran works across diverse groups—from prisons and refugee centers to care homes and youth projects—supporting the flourishing of new artists and helping all people see themselves as musicians.
Now blending her artistry, therapeutic song leadership, and experience as a mother of three, Fran offers voice activation and release work through The Presence Effect, guiding others to live fully and presently through their voices.
