Holly Jones is a music industry professional with a track record in event management, music education, and cultural policy. From 2018 to 2023, she played a key role at Sound City Conference as Project Manager, curating panels and workshops, working closely with speakers and stakeholders, and overseeing multiple venues and teams. During this time, she also led initiatives like Sound City Launch Training and Mentoring Sessions.
After going freelance, Holly worked across a range of music festivals and events, continuing to broaden her experience across the industry. She then joined BIMM Music Institute in Manchester, first as a Careers Advisor and later as a lecturer in Working in the Creative Industries, supporting students in building sustainable careers in music.
In August 2024, she took on a new challenge as Senior Policy Officer for Music at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. There, she works alongside the Greater Manchester Music Commission to support their work and drive positive change across the region’s music scene.
She’s also leading on music export for Greater Manchester and played a key role in launching the Greater Manchester Music Export Office in March 2025—helping local talent connect with international opportunities.
